What People Say

To make of my India trip a really fulfilling experience, I very much would have liked to contribute by doing voluntary work, preferably in a school. I found on the website of the Ayurvedic Medical Health Centre of Moodbidri www.alvas.org the link www.we4india.org.in, a website about a school project for children in need near Pune. Not expecting much, I wrote there about my wish to contribute, and I got a quick friendly answer in German from Bernd Heinemann telling me that I just could get into contact with Dr. Sharayu Ghole, the founder and main sponsor of the school.

Furniture for classroom Rs.75,000/-.
Playground material eg. Swing, Slides, Nets, Bungy jumps, adventure sports etc. costing Rs.20,000/- per set.
Providing fans, library shelves, solar cooker, display boards, school notice boards, personal computers, stationery and similar material.
Donating towards the expenses of one child from the HOME at Rs.5000/- per month.
Donating towards the yearly expenses of education of one child from the school Rs.10000/- per annum.
Making available your time, skills, experiences for educating the students in our school.
Sponsoring salary of one teacher of our school at Rs.10,000/- per month.
Sponsoring salary of driver for school-van Rs.8000/- per month.
Sponsoring petrol expenses of our school bus at Rs.8500/- per month.
